Ratings Chart: Week Ending 08/02/13

Welcome back to your friendly weekly ratings store where you’ll find things haven’t changed all that much.

1 [1] Call the Midwife (Sun, BBC1)
Week three and Call the Midwife is the most watched show by a country mile with this week’s episode seeing the arrival of a new medical orderly and Jenny Lee returning to hospital work.

2 [2] Mrs Brown’s Boys (Mon, BBC1)
Thankfully this is the final episode of this horrendous sitcom but due to its success in the ratings I have no doubt that it will return next year to haunt us once again.

3 [4] Death in Paradise (Tues, BBC1)
Death in Paradise sneaks up the charts this week as Miranda bids us farewell its up to Ben Miller to provide both the comedy and the drama.

4 [5] Silent Witness (Thurs, BBC1)
Silent Witness also climbs up the chart this week as a legion of fans say goodbye to a beloved character.

5 [7] Dancing on Ice (Sun, ITV)
images6 Ratings Chart: Week Ending 08/02/13
Interesting ratings for this year’s version of the celebrity skating show as it moves up a couple of positions into the top end of the chart.

6 [8] Africa (Wed, BBC1)
Africa continues to be the unknown entity of the chart as it climbs back up a couple of places.

7 [6] Lewis (Mon, ITV)
Lewis starts his final case on ITV but due to the separation of the episodes we’ll have to find out what happens in next week’s last ever instalment.

8 [10] Ripper Street (Sun, BBC1)
The topsy-turvy Sunday night ratings continue with Ripper Street over-taking Mr Selfridge once again.

9 [9] Mr Selfridge (Sun, ITV)
But it appears as if the shop drama is holding strong and it remains to be seen how well it does up against the BAFTAs next week.

10 [New] Splash! (Sat, ITV)
And finally this week is Tom Daly’s celebrity diving show Splash! whose final episode makes it into the chart after weeks of languishing just below the Top 10.

More of the same next week folks.
